Supplies required: toaster, bread.
Take slice of bread out of the fridge. Place in toaster oven.
Wait five minutes. Try to read newspaper while waiting. Burst into tears at the wedding announcements.
Check cold bread. Plug in the toaster. Wander upstairs. Make the bed with cotton sheets bought on last anniversary. Sit on made bed, staring blankly. Rush downstairs when smoke alarm goes off in the kitchen.
Blackened toast is probably done. Throw away. Repeat each day for a week.
