Klump’s Cafe

in Round Top

lunch – and then supper

This cafe is in the old 1800s Tinsmith  Shop on the Square in Round, Top, Texas.  If you travel to Round top for the antique shows (or go there anyway), stop in Klump’s.

This is a country cafe owned and operated by the Klump family. Ron and Liz do the cooking, daughter Kristina waits tables, son Russell helps with the barbecue, and Edith “Granny” Klump runs the cash register. The Klumps have been smokin’ in Round Top for two decades, first selling barbecue to oil field workers from a downtown grocery store. In 1991 they moved their pit to this restaurant.

  1. Was googling the other day and came across your restaraunt. I have children in Killeen. Hope to visit next year. Ron Klump
