Scraps of memories

When we lived in Denver, my husband would have a catfish fry once a year – for two different groups.  He would fry catfish in the Shop at his trucking company (with all of the side dishes provided) for his employees and special customers.  Then he would do the same for about 75-100 friends (with me providing the side dishes) at our home.

It was great fun and we planned to have this event after we moved to Seguin eleven years ago.  But we got busy with so many other things and although we have entertained friends – never did have the Catfish Fry.

My sister has been doing what I should be doing – cleaning out odds and ends and she found this invitation from 1997, which brought back the memories of those times in Denver.

Good times!
